Invitation to Special Issues
Outstanding full papers presented at I3CE 2026 will be invited to two dedicated special issues in top journals :
Journal of Computing in Civil Engineering, Advanced Engineering Informatics.
Authors of invited papers will be required to add significant new content (e.g., extended methodology, results, or validations) in accordance with the publication standards of the respective journals.
Special Issue 1
Title : Artificial Intelligence for Resilient and Sustainable Civil Infrastructure Systems
Guest Editor :Dr. Changbum Ryan Ahn, Seoul National University, South Korea
Dr. Hongjo Kim, Yonsei University, South Korea This special issue will be published in the Journal of Computing in Civil Engineering (JCCE). Relevant topic include, but are not limited to :
- AI-enhanced structural health monitoring and condition assessment
- Deep learning and graph-based models for infrastructure analytics
- Large Language Models (LLMs) for code interpretation and design automation
Special Issue 2
Title : Advanced Computing Technologies for Integrated, Intelligent, and Interoperable Civil Infrastructure
Guest Editor :Dr. Youngjib Ham, Seoul National University, South Korea
Dr. Nan Li, Tsinghua University, China This special issue will be published in the Advanced Engineering Informatics (AEI). Relevant topic include, but are not limited to :
- Digital twin frameworks and applications in infrastructure
- Real-time simulation and hybrid modeling of infrastructure behavior
- BIM-based integration and platform interoperability
