Conference Information
Overview
The International Conference on Computing in Civil Engineering (i3CE) is a prestigious academic event organized by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). This annual conference brings together leading researchers and practitioners to present cutting-edge research and technological innovations in the fields of construction and civil engineering. Topics covered include the application of advanced computing technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Automation and Robotics, Large Language Models (LLMs), Computer Vision, Digital Twins, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) in civil and construction engineering.
Traditionally held in the United States, the i3CE will, for the first time in its history, be hosted outside the U.S. — in South Korea in 2026. This milestone is expected to significantly increase participation from academic and industry professionals across Asia. Hosting i3CE in Korea will not only elevate the international standing of the Korean civil and construction engineering sectors but also provide a valuable opportunity for local researchers to engage with a global academic network.
